<p>Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., the worlds largest bottler of drinks, Tuesday said President John R. Alm, 57 years old, will take the additional role of chief executive Jan. 1.</p><p>Incumbent CEO Lowry F. Kline, 63, will remain executive chairman, taking an active role in management, the Atlanta beverage company said.</p><p>Alm also currently serves as chief operating officer and a member of the companys board.</p><p>Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Enterprises didnt say whether he will retain that role and a representative wasnt immediately available for comment.</p><p>Separately, the company said it also named Calvin Darden, 53, to the board. Darden is senior vice president of U.S. operations at United Parcel Service Inc.</p><p>Coca-Cola Enterprises has 15 other directors, according to the companys Web site.</p>
