Wilder now has 19 TDs and over 1,800 yards on the season. He will get a chance to add to those totals next week when the Tigers travel to Hawkinsville to play the red Devils in the quarterfinals.
Hawkinsville (12-0) whipped Miller County 45-0 Friday night.
The win did not come easy for Commerce (10-2) however. They built a quick 14-0 on scoring runs of 78 and 39 yards by Wilder.
But the Blue Devils stormed back to tie the game at 14-14 by halftime blocking two Commerce punts and getting a 5-yard TD run from Trey Walker and a 35-yard scoring pass from Ret Tolleson to Deshawn Edwards on a 4th-and-7 play.
But Wilder struck again quickly to open the second half going 52 yards for his third touchdown. Commerce quarterback Josh Haynes put the game away with a 20-yard TD run midway through the fourth quarter.
Tristen Daniels of Commerce recorded 21 tackles in the game and became the school's all-time leading tackler.
