Bannker, which beat East Hall last week in the Pepsi Shootout at East Hall High, climbed from third to the top spot in Class AAA.
Hart County is third and Gainesville is fifth in the latest rankings.
Johnson, which has played just one game so far this season, is tied for 11th with Swainsboro, while White County is tied for 13th with three other schools. That gives Region 7-AAA four teams in the top 16 teams in the state in Class AAA.
Most of Region 7-AAA is in action action, with Chestatee, gainesville and North Hall playing host to cross-region games.
