Lady Lions rally to beat Greenforest

GAINESVILLE - Trailing 21-16 at halftime against Greenforest, the Lakeview Academy girls basketball team decided it was time to get going.<br>

The Lady Lions used a 15-3 run to start the second half and then went on to a 56-44 win from there Tuesday night at home.<br>
<br>
Chelsey Chastain led Lakeview with 13 points. Elizabeth Campbell had 12 points and Diane Briggs added 10.<br>
<br>
lakeview coach buster Brown was pleased with how his team came back.<br>
<br>
"Our bench helped us stay close. In the second half, we got going and took control down the stretch," he said.<br>
<br>
Greenforest opened the game with a 9-1 run in the first quarter, however Lakeview roared back in the second quarter with a 7-0 of their own to pull within five and trail 21-16 at the end of the first half.<br>
<br>
"We were ragged early, probably from the five day rest," Brown said. <br>
<br>
Tuerqurois Gamble of Greenforest led all scorers with 19 points. Kristin Johnson also had 15 points for the Lady Eagles.
