NEGMC recieves accredidation

GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Medical Center has received accredidation from the American Diabetes Association for meeting national standards in its diabetes management education program.<br> <br> Medical Center spokesperson Melissa Timchuck says this is not the first time the program has been recognized.<br> <br> <br> The program provides meal planning education, along with glucose monitoring education, medication advice and more. <br> <br> Timchuck says the national recognition tells the Medical Center they are on the right track.<br>
