Gainesville man arrested on drug charges

GAINESVILLE - A 51-year-old Gainesville man has been arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and trafficking in the drug.

The Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad says agents seized about five ounces of meth, with a street value of more than $18,000 when they arrested Jerome Wright of Whites Mill Road.

They say they also seized a small amount of marijuana.
