Lakeview swept away by Towns County

HIAWASSEE - Both the Lakeview Academy boys and girls teams suffered their first Region 8-A North losses of the season Tuesday night.<br>

The Lakeview boys (6-2, 2-1) were nipped 65-63 by Towns County in a nail-bitter that went down to the final shot.<br>
<br>
The Lady Lions were whipped 49-34 by the Lady Indians.<br>
<br>
In the boys game, the Indians got 26 points from Kyle Wood in the win. Lakeview (6-2, 2-1) was led by Will Crumley's 14 points. Crumley was the only Lion in double figures.<br>
<br>
In the girls game, Towns County's Blair Barrett nearly outscored the Lakeview girls by herself. Barrett finished with a game-high 32 points.<br>
<br>
For the Lady Lions (6-2, 2-1) Chelsey Chastain had a team-high 9 points while Christi Thomas and Emily Horn each finished with 6 points.
