The junior guard scored 8 points and dished out two assists in overtime to lead the Lady Falcons to a 58-52 win.
She also held White County star D.J. Galbriati to just 4 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. Galbriati, who came in averaging just under 20 points a game, had just 12 points, 8 in the third quarter.
In the boys game, White County used a 19-3 run in the first quarter en rout to an 89-68 win over the Falcons.
Despite finishing with 25 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds, Adcock said she didn't play well.
"I let D.J. score in the third quarter and that made me mad. It was my job to stop her and I let her get them back in the game," Adcock said. "But we played a little better in the overtime."
The changed hands seven times in the final period and with about two minutes left in looked like the Lady Warriors (2-4) had control after 6-2 run and a 42-39 lead.
But the Lady Falcons (6-1) went on a 4-0 run to retake the lead. It went back and forth until Flowery Branch freshman Courtney Newton hit 1-of-2 free throws with 15 seconds left to send the game into overtime.
Flowery Branch never trailed in the overtime period running out to a 57-50 lead behind Adcock.
Molly McDonald scored 19 points to lead White County and keep the Lady Warriors in the game.
Kristina Tyler, returning after missing three games with an ankle injury, had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in limited action for Flowery Branch. newton finished with 7 points, most coming late in the game.
