Mountaineer to feature two state champs

DAHLONEGA - Nearly two dozen teams are expected to compete for this year&#39;s John Smith Mountaineer wrestling tournament at Lumpkin County High School beginning Friday.<br> <br> The tournament is generally billed as the biggest wrestling tournament in north Georgia each year.<br> <br> Jefferson, defending Class A champ, and Dawson County, defending Class AA champ, are both in this year&#39;s field, which may make it the single toughest tournament of the year.<br> <br> Hall County teams Chestatee and North Hall are also participating.<br> <br> Area teams North Forsyth, Forsyth Central, White County, Habersham Central, Gilmer, Jackson County, along with Lumpkin County are also in the field. nearly a dozen more teams from around the state are also expected to compete.
