More billboard requests slated for Hall planners

GAINESVILLE - Requests involving plans for four billboards in eastern Hall County and a new subdivision in the same area are scheduled to be considered by the Hall County Planning Commission early next year.

The billboard requests will be heard less than a month after the board rejected plans for a billboard on Thompson Bridge Road and had another - which was planned on Dawsonville Highway - withdrawn.

One of the requests to be heard January 5 involves a 25-acre site on Cornelia Highway near Cagle Mill Road. The other calls for three of the structures to be erected on Cornelia Highway near the State Highway 52 intersection.

The subdivision would be located on Pierce Road near Broome Road and would consist of 50 lots on a 50-acre piece of property.
