Man charged in deaths of two real estate agents due in court

<p>An extradition hearing was scheduled for later this week in Wisconsin for a man charged with murder in the shooting deaths of two real estate agents in Georgia.</p><p>Sheriffs deputies arrested Stacy Ian Humphreys, 30, in Hartford early Saturday. He was wanted in the deaths of Lori Brown, 21, of Powder Springs and Cynthia Williams, 33, of Acworth.</p><p>Humphreys was arrested after a 20-minute chase that started in Waukesha County at about 5:30 a.m. The chase began after deputies spotted a silver Jeep Cherokee and a man that matched the description of Humphreys and his vehicle.</p><p>Humphreys was expected to go before a Wisconsin judge Monday on charges related to the chase.</p><p>Authorities said Humphreys had been on parole since Oct. 10, 2002, after spending much of the past decade in Georgia prisons for crimes including theft and impersonating a police officer.</p><p>Since his release, Humphreys had been working as an electrician and living with his grandmother in DeKalb County. Thats where authorities spotted him on Friday. They said he fled when he was approached by officers.</p><p>A funeral for Williams was scheduled for Monday in her hometown of Covington, La. The funeral for Brown was held last Friday in Powder Springs.</p>
