Hoops season nearly ready to tip off

GAINESVILLE - The 2003-2004 basketball schedules are complete and Lakeview Academy is the first school in Hall County to get underway.<br> <br> The Lions will tip-off their season Nov. 11th against Greenforest, the first of four straight roads to open the season. Lakeview&#39;s home-opener is Nov. 22nd against East Hall.<br> <br> Gainesville is the first public school in Hall County to start with the boys playing at Central Gwinnett Nov. 15th. The defending Class AAA champion Lady Elephants tip-off Nov. 19th against Parkview in the Parkview Invitational.<br> <br> Most everyone else gets started on Nov. 18th. North Hall plays at Flowery Branch in both teams&#39; season opener; Chestatee travels to West Hall in those teams season openers; while Johnson does not begin its season until Nov. 29th at home against Habersham Central.<br> <br> Riverside Military Academy begins play Nov. 18th against Hiden Lake on the road.
