Elbert wins way into Class AAA playoffs

ELBERTON - Needing a win to get into the playoffs, the Elbert County Blue Devils responded Friday night.<br>
<br>
Elbert beat Monroe Area in a battle for the final playoff spot in Region 8-AAA.<br>
<br>
The winner was in, the loser out. As a result, Elbert will finish third in the region with Grayson taking fourth.<br>
<br>
The Blue Devils will travel to Westminster in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs.
