Trailing 25-20 after the first quarter, the Vikings exploded for a 27-4 run over a five minute stretch in the second and third quarters to eventually pull away for a 91-63 victory.
It was East Hall's opener and the Lions (4-1) suffered their first loss of the season.
In the girl's game, East Hall took a 67-44 win for the sweep.
Four Vikings reached double digits the boys' win. Frank David lead all scorers with 20 points. Brady Songston had 19, with Shanquise Glenn adding 13 and Kendrick Coleman had 11.
A 15-0 run in the third quarter buried the Lions for good.
East Hall Coach Seth Vinings said he was pleased with some things, but some other things were off. But he commended his team's ability to spread the ball around.
Lakeview coach Richie Hughes could not have happier despite the final score.
"It was a testament to my guys and how they played," Hughes said. "I'm proud of all of them and how they stuck with it the whole game. But East Hall had too much talent and depth and just pulled away in the second half."
Two Lions reached double digits. Tony Cast has 18 and J.B. Little had 14.
