Lady Vikings sharp in opener

GAINESVILLE - Whitney Jones scored 18 points to pace the East Hall girls basketball team to a 67-44 win over Lakeview Academy Saturday night.<br> <br> The Lady Vikings (1-0) used a 12-6 run in the second quarter to take the lead for good and cruised in the second half.<br> <br> Whitney Pruit added 12 for East Hall.<br> <br> Lakeview&#39;s Chelsey Chastain led all scorers with 21 points.<br> <br> Lakeview pulled within 13 points in the third quarter but East Hall used a 10-0 run to put the game away.
