LILBURN - The Gainesville girls basketball team will try to rebound from Saturday's thumping at the hands of Class AAAAA Collins Hill.

The Lady Red Elephants (1-1) will play Redan Monday night in the third place game at the Parkview Invitational Tournament at Parkview high School.

Gainesville was beaten 69-39 Saturday despite 21 points from Tasha Humphrey.

It was the worst loss for Gainesville during the Humphrey era.

After Monday's game, the Gainesville girls will travel to Tennessee to play in the Lawrence County Invitational.

They will open their Region 7-AAA schedule next Tuesday at home against Pickens County.
