Sheriff Gene Sorrells says the raid, which was the result of a three month investigation, involved people who deal in cocain, methamphetamine and marijuana.

"It started around the first of August this year," Sorrells says. "We got out and worked the county where we were having a lot of complaints from the citizens."

He adds more arrests are expected in the near future.

Those arrested are:

The Toccoa Police Department and Piedmont Northern MANS agents were also involved.

Both Toccoa Police Chief Bill Grant and Stephens County Sheriff Sorrells say it was because of information given to them by citizens who reported the crimes that the operation was a success.
