New chief magistrate named for Hall County

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville attorney Margaret Gregory has been named chief magistrate for Hall County.<br> <br> Gregory was selected by the Superior Court Judges for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit to fill the vacancy left a few weeks ago when Gene Roberts was named to a new Hall County State Court judgeship.<br> <br> Gregory is in private practice but also serves as the attorney for the Hall County Drug Court - a position she has held since the drug court&#39;s inception two years ago.<br> <br> She is a former Chief Assistant District Attorney for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit.<br>
