Lady Trojans go for undefeated region record

MURRAYVILLE - The Class AAA No. 3-ranked North Hall girls softball team will go for an undefeated Region 7-AAA season Tuesday when it plays host to Gainesville.<br> <br> The Trojans (21-4, 9-0) are coming off a thrilling 6-5, 9 inning win over Pickens County last week in a battle of region unbeatens. <br> <br> Gainesville (1-12, 1-8) got its first win off the year last week beating Gilmer County.<br> <br> North Hall came back three times against Pickens to get the win. Amy Smith drove in two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning after Pickens had taken a 5-4 lead in the top half of the inning.<br> <br> The Trojans have already clinched the top seed in next week&#39;s region tournament to be held at the Lanier Point Softball Complex.
