GAINESVILLE - Tree limbs snapped and there were scattered power outages Tuesday night in north Georgia as gusty winds ushered in a new cold front.

The area was under a wind advisory for a time. There have been no reports of any major damage.

Winds gusted to more than 30 miles per hour before diminishing during the night.

The strongest gust recorded here in Gainesville was 33 miles an hour; that was around 9:30.
