Riverside fumbled deep in its own territory to set up one score and then had one drive stopped that led to another in a 13-0 loss.
After a 5-1 start, the Eagles (5-4, 0-2 in Region 1 I-AAA) have now lost three straight, including the last two to the top two teams in the state.
"I don;t like losing, but I thought our effort was outstanding," Riverside coach Doug Dixon said. "We didn't give up and kept battling. A couple of breaks go our way and we have a chance to win the game."
Dixon cited the defensive play Danny Robinson, Justin Curry, Broderick Stewart and Carl Robinson for keeping them in the game.
