Elderly Duluth woman cited for animal neglect

DULUTH - A 77-year-old Duluth woman has been cited for 12 counts of animal neglect and nearly 60 dogs and cats were confiscated from her home. <br> <br> Gwinnett County police say Minnie Lou Anderson was cited Tuesday after animal-control officers noticed a number of stray dogs near her home. <br> <br> The pets - 43 dogs and 15 cats - were taken to the Gwinnett County animal shelter. Most appeared to be in good health. <br> <br> Anderson was allowed to keep ten dogs.
