Teen injured in fall from truck

ACWORTH - A 16-year-old Acworth boy is being treated for serious head injuries sustained when he fell from the back of a pickup truck. <br> <br> A spokeswoman for the Cherokee County Sheriff&#39;s Department says Chase Brown fell from the truck about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on his way home from school. Witnesses told police the truck was speeding through a subdivision in southwest Cherokee County. <br> <br> Brown was riding in the back of a pickup truck with another person -- a 17-year-old -- when the 19-year-old driver, Christopher Minor, turned a corner. Authorities say Brown was the only one injured. <br> <br> Brown fell out of the pickup and struck his head on the ground. He was flown to North Fulton Regional Hospital. <br> <br> It&#39;s unclear whether the driver will be charged.
