Moody airmen departing for Middle East

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE - A contingent of airmen from the Air Force's 38th Rescue Squadron departed Moody Air Force Base on Thursday for the northern Arabian Gulf. <br>

The airmen from the 38th followed another from the 347th Rescue Wing that departed Moody Wednesday night. Those airmen were from the 347th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Squadron and Operations Support Squadron, Moody officials said. <br>

Past deployments by units at Moody such as the 38th, 41st and 71st Rescue Squadrons assigned to the 347th and the three squadrons assigned to the 820th Security Forces Group have been 90-day deployments. The latest to be sent overseas from the base have not been notified when they will return.
