New magazine released by Macon's first lady

MACON - Macon first lady Margarethia Ellis has released the first issue of ``ME&#39;&#39; -- her new women&#39;s quarterly magazine. <br> <br> Ellis -- the wife of Macon Mayor Jack Ellis -- held a premiere party for the magazine Sunday night. <br> <br> The first issue features Lena Horne and includes a profile of the first ladies of Middle Georgia. The magazine has recipes and a community calendar. Other topics of articles include romance, depression and unplanned pregnancy. <br> <br> Ellis says ME is not an acronym of her initials but is about the ``me&#39;&#39; inside everyone. <br> <br> Tommy Dortch, chairman of the executive board of the marketing firm Margarethia Inc., says the magazine was a dream of Ellis, who wanted to showcase the success and positive images of women in Middle Georgia and across the nation.
