MACON - Clarence Baker scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half and led a balance Mercer attack as the Bears downed Central Florida 85-63 Monday night. <br>

Mercer (9-3, 4-0 Atlantic Sun) never trailed in winning for the eighth time in its last nine games. UCF fell to 10-6, 2-1. <br>

Ed Dotson led the Golden Knights with 16 points and Dexter Lyons added 13. <br>
<br>
Mercer had four other players score in double figures Scott Emerson 16, Aleem Muhammad 15, Delmar Wilson 14 and Wesley Duke 10. <br>
<br>
The A-Sun's leading scorer, UCF's Ray Abellard was held to five points, 13 below his average.
