JONESBORO - The former Clayton County school superintendent is going to court Wednesday in an effort to get his job back.
Dan Colwell showed up for work Tuesday - the day after he was fired by the school board in a 4-2 vote. But he found the locks on his office door and his computer passwords had been changed.
Colwell says the decision is illegal, and that board members never told him they had concerns with his performance.
The vote to remove Colwell was not on the school board's agenda.
