DECATUR - The DeKalb County Board of Health will expand its HIV/AIDS clinic services.
County health officials say the expansion will allow those with HIV to receive treatment at a nearby health center instead of having to travel to the main clinic in Decatur.
Three different health centers will offer services, each on a different day of the week. The services will be provided by HIV professionals who normally provide treatment at DeKalb's Ryan White Early Care Clinic in Decatur, the county's main clinic.
North DeKalb Health Center in Chamblee will offer its services on Monday. East DeKalb Health Center in Lithonia will serve people on Tuesday, while Kirkwood Health Center in Atlanta will provide services on Wednesdays.
The Ryan White clinic will remain open as a full-time clinic on weekdays.
