Singer Bobby Brown released

ATLANTA - Singer Bobby Brown is out of the hospital. <br> <br> He was taken to Atlanta&#39;s Grady Memorial Tuesday from DeKalb County Jail. Hospital officials have not said why he was hospitalized. <br> <br> Brown - the husband of Grammy-winner Whitney Houston - had been serving an eight-day jail sentence after pleading guilty last Friday to a 1996 drunken driving charge. <br> <br> He was released from jail custody earlier Wednesday under a ``good time&#39;&#39; policy that reduces sentences for good behavior. <br> <br> Brown - who was put on two years&#39; probation - also has been ordered to perform community service and not to drive for a year. <br> <br> He was arrested November seventh on charges of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding and having no driver&#39;s license or proof of insurance. After posting bond in Atlanta, he was transferred to the neighboring DeKalb County Jail to face the older charges.
