Survey says some Georgia companies heading abroad

ATLANTA - A new survey says a large number of Georgia companies plan to move some operations abroad. And the business exodus is concerning state economic observers. <br> <br> The survey was conducted by Atlanta accounting firm Habif Arogeti and Wynne, the Georgia Industry Association and Kennesaw State University. <br> <br> It says 17 percent of manufacturers and 25 percent of companies with revenue of at least ten million dollars are likely to move some operations. <br> <br> The companies cite a desire to cut costs, and they believe they can do that in other countries. <br> <br> Richard Kopelman of Habif Arogeti and Wynne says it&#39;s a wake-up call for Georgia to make a better effort creating a better environment for businesses. <br> <br> Almost 250 companies answered the survey, which was sent to businesses with revenue of three million dollars a year or more. <br> <br> The survey will be formally released next week and delivered to Georgia legislators.
