DOUGLASVILLE - The state Ethics Commission ruled Friday that the former state Senate Majority Leader Charles Walker violated disclosure laws.
Walker had been charged for failing to reveal his positions in nonprofit groups that received state grants.
The commission told Walker not to repeat the violation. But that's a moot point since Walker lost his re-election bid in November.

The commission dismissed most of a separate complaint alleging that Walker used campaign money improperly to pay personal expenses -- including fees associated with a condominium that he owns in downtown Atlanta.
The commission found Walker committed only a ``technical'' violation in the way he itemized some expenses.
