Ethics commission tells former senator not to break disclosure laws

DOUGLASVILLE - The state Ethics Commission ruled Friday that the former state Senate Majority Leader Charles Walker violated disclosure laws. <br> <br> Walker had been charged for failing to reveal his positions in nonprofit groups that received state grants. <br> <br> The commission told Walker not to repeat the violation. But that&#39;s a moot point since Walker lost his re-election bid in November. <br> <br> The commission dismissed most of a separate complaint alleging that Walker used campaign money improperly to pay personal expenses -- including fees associated with a condominium that he owns in downtown Atlanta. <br> <br> The commission found Walker committed only a ``technical&#39;&#39; violation in the way he itemized some expenses.
