Macon man charged in death of his father

ADRIAN - The 28-year-old son of an Adrian man, missing since October, has been charged with murdering his father. <br> <br> Authorities say Jimmy Joe Lee Junior of Macon is accused of killing Jimmy Joe Lee Senior. <br> <br> The identity of a body found Tuesday in a grave on the father&#39;s property in Adrian -- about 50 miles southeast of Macon -- still had not been confirmed. <br> <br> But investigators were certain enough to file a murder charge. <br> <br> Investigators say it was a violent death, although they did not release the exact cause. <br> <br> The son has been in the Johnson County jail on an auto theft charge since his arrest two days after his father was last seen alive. He is accused of taking his father&#39;s truck.
