More blood recipients diagnosed with West Nile

ATLANTA - Health officials are questioning whether the blood supply is spreading the West Nile disease. <br> <br> Four people have been diagnosed with West Nile after receiving blood transfusions. <br> <br> The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Thursday that at least one of the four got blood products from donors who were later found to be carrying the virus. <br> <br> The CDC also confirmed that a Georgia woman who died in a car accident in July passed on the West Nile virus through organ donations to four people. <br> <br> Previously doctors said they weren&#39;t sure whether the organ recipients got West Nile from the organ transplant or from a mosquito. <br> <br> The report said mosquitoes ``most likely&#39;&#39; caused West Nile in the four blood recipients, but that it&#39;s possible they caught the virus from an infected blood donor.
