Two men facing charges in jewelry store robbery

EASTMAN - Two men charged with robbing an Eastman jewelry store are suspected in four similar crimes in Georgia, as well as robberies in two other states. <br> <br> Troy Anthony Sherrill, 39, of West Point, Ala., and Curstantation McRae, 29, of Austell, were arrested Wednesday and charged with armed robbery for holding up Friedman&#39;s Jewelry in Eastman. <br> <br> On Aug. 20, the men entered the store, one of them carrying a gun, tied up the employees, stole the jewelry from the display case and fled on foot, said Greg Harvey of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. <br> <br> Harvey said the men are also suspected of robberies in Virginia and South Carolina, along with four jewelry store robberies in Georgia in recent months. <br> <br> No charges have been filed in the other cases, but Harvey said the men are the prime suspects in those robberies.
