Fort Valley St. shuts out Morehouse

MACON - Cecil Lester connected with Jonathon Jackson on a 54-yard touchdown pass and Duron Croson ran for 125 yards and a touchdown as Fort Valley State blanked Morehouse 23-0 in the season opener for both Saturday night. <br> <br> Fort Valley took the lead midway through the first quarter on a 2-yard run by Durand Hannah. Croson&#39;s 1-yard scoring run one minute into the second period built the lead to 13-0. <br> <br> The other score came on a 27-yard field goal by John Clark in the third quarter.
