Benefit planned for Braselton PD

BRASELTON - Residents of the Chateau Elan community are planning a auction to raise money to buy bullet proof vests for the Braselton Police Department.

The auction is scheduled for September 20 at the Barrow County resort.

The department says it is in need of the vests because current ones are outdated, the vests cost around $800 a piece.

Some of the items to be actioned is a golf trip to Scotland and a cruise to Argentina
