ATHENS, Ga. - No. 10 Georgia worked Monday on fixing mistakes it made against Clemson before it faces South Carolina in two weeks.
The Bulldogs practiced for 90 minutes in helmets, with the emphasis on improving an offense that committed three fumbles and a defense that sometimes misread runs.
"We wanted to make some corrections after our mistakes Saturday against Clemson," said assistant coach John Eason.
The workout also featured extensive work on the kicking game, which kept Georgia in the game with a 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a game-winning 43-yard field goal by Billy Bennett.
Georgia defeated Clemson 31-28 on Saturday. No. 22 South Carolina beat New Mexico State 34-24 and will play Virginia on Saturday.
