ATLANTA - A judge has given lawyers for people charged after a raid on a private nightclub more time to prepare their cases.

Atlanta Municipal Judge William Riley Junior gave defense lawyers involved in the charges against Club Zinc two more weeks to work on their cases.

Authorities have dropped disorderly conduct charges against most of the 115 people arrested in the July 27th raid on the club that charged customers 25 dollars to witness sex acts on stage.

City Solicitor Raines Carter says the charges were dropped against the patrons because they would be too difficult to prosecute.

He says indictments have been handed down against three men police say organized the party. Ten others have been charged with indecent exposure. They are accused of performing in the sex show, which was captured on a videotape confiscated by police.
