Police look for suspect in rape of Mercer student

MACON - Macon police are looking for a suspect in the rape of a Mercer University student who was abducted at knifepoint from a gas station. <br> <br> Police say a man grabbed the 18-year-old woman from behind early Sunday, put a knife to her throat and forced her into her car. <br> <br> Sergeant Anthony Hubbard says the man drove the young woman to several locations and raped her several times before letting her go about 5:30 a.m. Sunday. <br> <br> Police say the woman drove herself to a hospital for treatment. <br> <br> Investigators say the suspect is in his early 30s. <br> <br> School officials have not returned a telephone call.
