Two Paulding County men found dead in burning car

Police are investigating the killings of two Paulding County men whose bodies were found in the trunk of a burning car along Interstate 20 on Sunday morning.<br> <br> The Fulton County medical examiner identified the men as Shad English, 21, of Dallas, and Jeffrey Jackson, 19, of Hiram.<br> <br> The red Honda Civic was discovered on fire about 6 a.m. in the emergency lane of I-20 on the western edge of Atlanta.<br> <br> A passing motorist had stopped and attempted to put out the fire with an extinguisher, but left before police arrived and discovered the bodies, said Lt. James Sellers.<br> <br> Firefighters discovered the bodies after dousing the fire.<br> <br> Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Quigley said one of the men owned the car, but he did not say which one. The car was taken to the state crime lab to look for evidence.<br> <br>
