West Georgia sneaks by Albany St.

ALBANY - Jonathan Sello returned an interception 60 yards for one touchdown and Daetwan Wells 15 yards for another as West Georgia turned to its defense to down Albany State 32-29 on Saturday.<br>

The Braves (2-0) were outgained 312-185 yards, but their defense came up with four fumble recoveries in addition to the two interceptions. <br>
<br>
West Georgia built a 32-15 lead on Clay Robertson's 42-yard field goal with 7:16 remaining before the Golden Rams (0-3) closed the margin with two touchdowns in the final 4:21 a 1-yard run by James Marcus and a 4-yard pass from Marcus to Edward Harper. <br>

West Georgia also scored a touchdown when Patrick Prince recovered a fumble in the end zone to cap a 55-yard drive and Jess Marinko hauled in a 12-yard scoring pass from Bo Bartik in the third quarter for its other score. <br>
<br>
Albany State got a safety in the opening period and Sterlin Jenkins scored its other two touchdowns on runs of 2 and 20 yards.
