Gwinnett traffic accident turns out to be murder

LAWRENCEVILLE - A Gwinnett County police officer responding to what he thought was an accident found the driver of the car had been shot in the back of the head. <br> <br> The call came in about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday. <br> <br> Police spokesman Corporal Ray Dunlap says 31-year-old Anthony Tremmell of Lawrenceville was dead at the scene. <br> <br> Tremmell&#39;s ten-year-old son - who was riding in the car with his father - was slightly injured in the crash but was not hit by any bullets. <br> <br> Witnesses told police they saw a man running after the car Tremmell was driving and firing shots at the car as he ran. <br> <br> At least one bullet went through the rear window, striking Tremmell. The car continued traveling about a half mile before striking a utility pole. <br> <br> Dunlap says police do not have a motive in the shooting.
