After seeing its 29-game home winning streak snapped by Wofford last week, Georgia Southern will try once again to find a passing game when it hits the road for a Saturday night game with Tennessee-Chattanooga.
The Eagles completed only two of 12 passes for 23 yards and an interception in the 14-7 loss to Wofford in last week's Southern Conference opener for both teams.
Coach Mike Sewak said, ``We're not a passing team, but we've got to complete some passes. Every day we're working on the pass.''
In the only other game involving a Division 1-AA team in Georgia, Morris Brown entertains Hampton. Savannah State has an open date.
Two out-of-state 1-AA teams will hold their annual battle at the Georgia Dome when Tennessee State takes on Florida A&M.
Valdosta State shoots for its fourth victory in a row when the Blazers entertain Southern Arkansas in a key Gulf South Conference game. Southern Arkansas features a strong running game, having netted 308 yards on the ground in last week's 42-21 romp over West Georgia.
West Georgia returns home for what should be an easy Gulf South game against Henderson State, which was crushed 68-21 by Central Arkansas a week ago.
In games involving Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams, Fort Valley State is at Clark Atlanta, Bowie State at Morehouse and Lane at Albany State.
