Arrest made in Cherokee County abduction

CARTERSVILLE - Authorities in Bartow County have arrested a man investigators want to question about the abduction and beating of a woman who was left in the woods in Cherokee County. <br> <br> Danny Dutton was taken into custody around 2 a.m. Friday. Authorities say he knew one of the men charged in the abduction of the woman. <br> <br> The victim was abducted, beaten and abandoned in the woods September 12. Rescuers were able to find her when she called 911 on a cell phone and directed authorities to her location despite serious injuries. <br> <br> Two other suspects already are in custody. <br> <br> In a separate case, Dutton faces charges of aggrevated assault and burglary in Cherokee County. Sheriff&#39;s department spokeswoman Nicole Ebbeskotte says Dutton is accused of shooting a man riding in a pickup truck with him on September 13 and of later breaking into a home.
