One killed in collision in south Georgia

ASHBURN - The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a three-car collision in south Georgia in which a 21-year-old woman from Miami died. <br> <br> A spokesman with the Cordele post of the State Patrol says troopers answered a call about 5:20 p.m. Sunday about the accident on Interstate 75, about a mile south of Ashburn. <br> <br> He says a Ford Mercury Grand Marquis left the southbound lanes and the driver overcorrected and struck a 15-passenger Dodge van. The van driver lost control, the van overturned and some of the passengers were thrown from the van. <br> <br> The State Patrol identifies the dead woman as Theresa Wint. A spokesman says she was part of a soccer team that was returning to Miami after playing in a tournament in the Atlanta area. <br> <br> No other details about the team are immediately available. <br> <br> The van also struck a U-Haul truck. <br> <br> The accident remains under investigation. The State Patrol says charges are pending.
