SC man sought in three slayings in two states

DOBSON, NORTH CAROLINA - A South Carolina man suspected of killing two people in North Carolina and one in his home state was sought Monday and believed to be in Georgia. <br> <br> Two people were shot shortly after midnight Monday morning during an apparent robbery at a convenience store near Interstate 77 near Dobson, about 15 miles south of the Virginia border northwest of Winston-Salem. <br> <br> Surry County Sheriff Connie Watson said the suspect called news outlets in South Carolina and threatened to do more violence. <br> <br> Twenty-two-year-old Quincy Allen was charged with the shootings at a Citgo service station. The victims were 53-year-old store clerk Richard Hawks of Low Gap and 29-year-old customer Robert Shane Roush of Lancaster, Ohio. <br> <br> Allen was already being sought by South Carolina authorities, who charged him with fatally shooting Jedediah Harr last Thursday in Columbia, South Carolina. <br> <br> That shooting took place after Allen got into an argument with a passenger in Harr&#39;s car, according to Lieutenant Joseph Pellicci of the Richland County Sheriff&#39;s Department in South Carolina. <br> <br> Watson said Allen was believed to be driving Roush&#39;s red 2002 Ford Explorer with Ohio tags, possibly heading south on I-77. Pellicci said he was thought to be in the Atlanta area.
