New York woman sentenced for scuffle with Delta flight attendants

PHOENIX - A New York woman was sentenced to three years probation for interfering last October with crew members on a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Phoenix. <br> <br> Sixty-three-year-old Donnie Jean Bonner also was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Phoenix to four months of home confinement. <br> <br> Bonner was arrested October 9 after Delta flight 351 landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. <br> <br> Bonner argued and fought with two female flight attendants after getting up from her seat to use the lavatory while the aircraft&#39;s seat belt sign was on, according to the indictment. <br> <br> She was released from jail a few days after the incident and allowed to return home to Rochester. <br> <br> Bonner entered a guilty plea May 20 and admitted that she assaulted and intimidated the two crew members. <br> <br> Judge Earl Carroll also ordered Bonner to pay $1,675 in restitution to one of the injured crew members, in addition to paying a $750 fine.
