The three agreed quite a bit, with the main differences coming on tax cuts and government waste.
Both Chambliss and Irvin support some form of a national sales tax that would replace income taxes and payroll taxes and reduce or eliminate the Internal Revenue Service.
Chambliss portrayed himself as an experienced representative who has served four terms in the House of Representatives. He said he supported the farm bill which created jobs and saved many Georgia farmers.
Irvin painted himself as the most conservative candidate of the three and said he had never and will never vote for any government pork projects, such as the farm bill.
He said they are wasteful and don't really help farmers.
Brown said that if we don't look out for Georgia farmers today, then they'll simply die out and Georgia will lose a large part of its economy.
The three also debated govrnment leaks involving the war on terror and the infringement of civil liberties in trying to seek out terrorists.
