Four tie for 1-stroke lead in Georgia Open

BRASELTON - Chan Reeves of the Robert T. Jones Instructional Center shot a 37 on the front nine but came back with a 31 to tie with three others with 4-under-par 68s and a one stroke lead Thursday in the first round of the Georgia Open. <br> <br> Jeff Amershadian of Cobblestone Golf Club, Justin Bolli of Atlanta Athletic Club and Alpharetta&#39;s Matt Filipowicz also fired 68s on The Legends at Chateau Elan course. <br> <br> Three amateurs were in a four-way tie at 69 - Jonathan Shiflet of Cateechee Golf Club, Jacye Stepp of Cartersville Country Club, and Jason Hodges of St. Simons Island. Also at 69 was Dave Womack of Georgia National Golf Club. <br> <br> Defending champion Dave Schreyer of Peachtree City had a 34 on the first nine holes but then slipped to a 38 to lock up with 14 others with an even-par 72.
