Beat loses to Freedom

WASHINGTON - A corner kick from Mia Hamm helped the Washington Freedeom beat the Atlanta Beat and win a spot in the playoffs.<br>

The Freedom won 3-2 on a last-minute kick from Hamm to Pu Wei Sunday.<br>
<br>
The loss leaves Atlanta with a record of 10-8-1.
